Angela Jones, Associate Attorney, is a recent addition to the firm as an attorney, but has been with Stone | Dean since October of 2011, and began clerking in 2012. She graduated cum laude and with Honors from California State University Northridge where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an option in Business Law and a second major in Business Honors. She received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School and passed the Bar in December of 2015.
During her externships at the San Diego and Los Angeles District Attorney’s Offices, Angela drafted and argued motions on a wide array of issues, including but not limited to: opposition to motion to dismiss, suppression of evidence, withdrawal of guilty plea, grant of probation under Proposition 36, termination of probation and expungement. She also second-chaired felony trials and conducted numerous preliminary examinations, assisting in all aspects of trial and grand jury preparation, including numerous high-profile cases.
At Stone | Dean, Angela has gained experience in general civil litigation with an emphasis in insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance law. She has extensive arbitration and mediation experience, in addition to well-rounded exposure to civil and criminal fields. She participated in clinical litigation training during her participation in the Hobbs Trial Clinic at Loyola Law School.

Angela looks forward to furthering her experience and expanding her knowledge in civil litigation as an associate attorney with the firm. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching sports, and hiking.
