Stone | Dean Participates in YMCA’s Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Every family deserves a Thanksgiving Day dinner: that’s the philosophy at the North-Valley Family YMCA and Stone | Dean could not agree more! The Y hosts its annual Thanksgiving Food drive this week, which provides food baskets for over 3,000 families in-need. The goal for 2016 was to provide over 3,500 families in the community with a full Thanksgiving dinner, and SD was right there to lend a helping hand.

YMCA Thanksgiving Baskets ready to go!

The firm collected food baskets donated by attorneys and employees this week; each basket contained stuffing, canned veggies, gravy, chicken broth, cranberry sauce, dessert, and a $10 Grocery Store Gift Card. Some firm employees will also volunteer their time November 14th & 15th collecting, sorting, and distributing food for under-privileged families. The firm is thankful for the North Valley YMCA, our fantastic employees, and the San Fernando Valley community for coming together to provide food to those who  might have otherwise gone without.

The North Valley YMCA is hoping to receive donations of $40 to feed each family — want to lend a hand? Information on the North-Valley Family YMCA like how to get involved can be found on their website at ymcala.org/north-valley. You can also contact North Valley YMCA’s Junaid Rasul at (818)368-3231 ext. 2340.

Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered their time. Below you can find some photos taken at the event this weekend featuring Kristi Dean.
